Green Kratom is Mitragyna speciosa harvested and dried using a process that keeps the leaf's vein color green. It's generally considered a balanced, steady middle ground between the brighter white-vein and calmer red-vein varieties, which is why it's a popular daytime choice.

The difference comes down to how the leaf is dried. Green-vein leaves sit between Red and White in processing a moderate drying period with some light exposure, longer than White's fast, low-light drying but shorter than Red's extended drying. That middle-ground process is part of why Green is generally described as balanced, sitting between White's brighter character and Red's calmer one.
