Buy kratom online in the UK and Europe

Kratomvia is a specialist kratom shop for customers in the UK and across Europe. We sell one thing and try to do it properly: Maeng Da kratom powder in four vein colours – red, green, white and yellow. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory before it goes on sale, and the certificates are published on our lab reports page.

All four strains come in the same sizes and at the same prices: 100 g for €14.90, 250 g for €36.90, 500 g for €58.90 and 1000 g for €98.90. Orders placed before 15:00 on business days usually leave the same day.

What is kratom?

Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is a tropical evergreen tree from the coffee family, native to Southeast Asia. Its leaves have been used in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia for generations. After harvest the leaves are dried and milled into a fine green powder – the kratom powder you see in our shop.

The leaves contain a group of alkaloids, the best known being mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. The balance between them depends on the tree, the region, the age of the leaf and, above all, how the leaves are dried. That is where the familiar "vein colours" come from. For a deeper look, read our guide Kratom strains explained.

Red, green, white and yellow kratom compared

The colour refers to the vein of the leaf and to how the leaf is processed after picking. Here is how the four strains are usually described by the people who use them:

Strain Commonly described as Often chosen for
Red kratom Calm, relaxing, full-bodied The evening and winding down
Green kratom Balanced, clear, steady The daytime; a good first choice
White kratom Energising, alert, bright Mornings and focused work
Yellow kratom Smooth, rounded, mood-lifting A middle path between green and red

Everyone reacts differently, and the same strain can feel different from one person to the next. If you are unsure where to start, most customers begin with green Maeng Da because it sits in the middle of the spectrum.

Why Maeng Da?

Maeng Da is a selected grade of kratom known for large, mature leaves and a strong alkaloid profile. We chose to focus on Maeng Da in all four colours instead of offering dozens of strains, so we can control sourcing and testing properly. Read more in Maeng Da kratom: what it is and how it differs.

How to choose good kratom

  • Ask for a lab report. A serious shop can show a certificate of analysis (COA) for the batch you are buying. Ours are on the lab reports page.
  • Check the colour and smell. Fresh kratom powder is evenly coloured and smells green and earthy, never musty.
  • Look at the grind. A fine, even grind is a sign of careful processing.
  • Buy from a shop that ships from Europe. Short delivery routes and no customs checks mean fresher powder and no surprises.
  • Start small. A 100 g pack is the easiest way to compare strains before buying 500 g or 1000 g.

Our kratom powder buyer's guide explains what the numbers on a COA mean.

Lab-tested, batch by batch

Kratom is a natural product, and no two harvests are identical. That is why we test every batch at an independent laboratory before it is released, and why we publish the results instead of simply writing "lab tested" on the pack. Each certificate lists the batch number, so you can match it to the powder you receive.

Pack sizes and value

All four of our strains cost the same, so you can compare them fairly. The larger the pack, the lower the price per gram:

  • 500 g – €58.90 (€0.118 per gram)
  • 1000 g – €98.90 (€0.099 per gram) – about a third cheaper per gram than 100 g

How to store kratom powder

Kratom powder keeps best in an airtight container, away from light, heat and moisture. A cool, dark cupboard is ideal. Stored like this, the powder keeps its colour and aroma for many months. Read more in our guide to kratom shelf life.

How to read a kratom lab report (COA)

A certificate of analysis only helps if you know what to look for. These are the parts of a kratom COA that matter most:

  • Batch number and date. The report should name the exact batch and when it was tested, so you can match it to the pack you receive.
  • Alkaloid content. Mitragynine is usually given as a percentage of dry weight. It shows how strong the leaf is and makes batches easier to compare. Read more in Kratom Alkaloids: Mitragynine & 7-Hydroxymitragynine.
  • Heavy metals. Lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury should be listed with the measured value and the limit, not just "pass".
  • Microbiology. Look for salmonella, E. coli, yeast and mould. A clean result means the leaf was dried and handled properly.
  • The laboratory. The lab should be independent of the seller and named on the report.

Our guide to Kratom Lab Testing walks through a real certificate line by line.

From leaf to sealed bag

We work with a small network of growers in Southeast Asia's established kratom regions. The leaf is harvested selectively, cleaned by hand and dried slowly at a low, controlled temperature. Only then is it milled into fine powder, sent for laboratory testing and packed in sealed bags. Each step affects the colour, aroma and alkaloid balance of the final powder, which is why we keep the chain short. You can read more about us and in our story.

Kratom powder FAQ

Strains, testing & shipping, answered

The colour refers to the vein colour of the leaf at harvest, which affects the powder's tone and aroma once dried. Red Maeng Da has a deep, rich colour, White Maeng Da is lighter and more finely textured, Green Maeng Da sits balanced between the two, and Yellow Maeng Da goes through an extra fermentation step for a distinct golden hue.
